Be not deceived: Evil communications corrupt good manners. (1 Corinthians 15:33)
The people you allow into your life will either strengthen your walk with God or slowly pull you away from His purpose. Relationships are never neutral—they are either helping you move forward or holding you back. That is why it is so important to intentionally cultivate the right relationships.
In Mark 2, the man who was paralyzed could not get to Lord Jesus by himself. Yet he had four friends who refused to give up on him. When they could not enter through the door because of the crowd, they climbed onto the roof, broke it open, and lowered him before Lord Jesus. What remarkable friends! They didn’t make excuses or tell him to try another day. They carried him to the One who could change his life. You need to ask yourself if the people around you are helping you to move closer to Lord Jesus, or are they pulling you away from Him? And just as importantly, are you that kind of friend to someone else?
God desires to surround you with people who encourage your faith, challenge you to grow, and remind you of His Word when you feel discouraged. Likewise, He wants you to be a source of strength and encouragement to others. Build relationships that inspire prayer, stir up faith, and motivate one another to fulfill God’s purpose. Those are the relationships that produce lasting fruit.
Be intentional about the company you keep. Value friendships that strengthen your convictions and help you pursue God’s calling. As you walk with the right people, you will discover that your faith becomes stronger, your vision becomes clearer, and your spiritual journey becomes much more fruitful.

Dear Father, I thank You for the wonderful people You have placed in my life to strengthen my faith and encourage me in Your purpose. Thank You for giving me wisdom to cultivate godly relationships that glorify You. Make me a faithful friend who uplifts, supports, and inspires others to walk closely with You. I thank You because my life is surrounded by people who help me grow, and together we fulfill Your perfect will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
