Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6–7)
Have you ever noticed what happens after you pray? Before prayer, your heart may be troubled or uncertain, but as you pour your heart before God, something supernatural takes place. The Holy Spirit fills your heart with a peace that cannot be explained by human reasoning.
This is the ministry of the Holy Spirit at work in your life. He does not merely remove anxiety; He establishes your heart in divine confidence and peace. Even when circumstances remain unchanged, His peace assures you that God is at work.
This same Holy Spirit empowered the prophets of old to stand fearlessly before kings and boldly proclaim God’s Word. Today, He no longer comes upon you temporarily—He lives in you permanently. Therefore, His peace and courage are always available to you.
Meditate on this truth today. As you fellowship with the Holy Spirit, His peace guards your heart, strengthens your faith and enables you to walk fearlessly in every situation.
Prayer:
Dear Father, I thank You for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. As I pray, His peace fills my heart and guards my mind. I refuse anxiety, worry and fear. I walk in supernatural peace, unwavering confidence and fearless faith because the Holy Spirit lives in me, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
