For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. (2 Corinthians 4:16)
Did you know that your mind is one of the greatest instruments God has given you? The direction of your life is greatly influenced by what occupies your thoughts. This is why the enemy constantly tries to fill our minds with fear, anxiety, and discouragement. But God has given us something far greater—the renewing power of His Word.
When you consistently fill your heart with the Word of God, your thinking begins to change. You stop reacting the way the world reacts and begin responding with faith. Your conversations become different, your outlook changes, and even the decisions you make become wiser because your mind is being shaped by God’s truth.
This renewal doesn’t happen overnight. Just as we nourish our bodies every day, we must also nourish our minds daily. Every time you meditate on the Scriptures, attend church, read this devotional the secret of success, meditate on the affirmation books of our ministry or spend time listening to God’s Word, your inward man is being strengthened. Little by little, it is transforming your thinking until His perspective becomes your perspective.
Don’t allow your mind to become a resting place for worry or doubt. Let it become a dwelling place for the Word of God. As your mind is renewed, your entire life will begin reflecting the glorious work that God is doing within you.
Prayer:
Dear Father, thank You for renewing my mind through Your precious Word. Thank You that my thoughts are continually being aligned with Your truth. I rejoice because my inward man is strengthened day by day, and my life reflects Your wisdom, peace, and victory. Thank You for leading me into greater maturity every day. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
