As you grow in your walk with God, you will discover that the enemy is not impressed by your past—he is concerned about your future. His greatest desire is to prevent the Word of God from producing fruit in your life. That is why his primary target is not your possessions, your career, or even your circumstances. His real target is the Word that has been planted in your heart.
Think about a believer who has just begun walking in the principles of God’s Word. Perhaps they have started giving generously, praying faithfully, or speaking words of faith, and they begin seeing God’s hand at work. The enemy knows that if the Word continues to grow, that believer will become stronger and more effective. So he attempts to introduce doubt, offence, distractions, or discouragement—not because he fears the outward blessing, but because he wants to uproot the truth that produced it.
This is why guarding your heart is so important. It is not enough to hear the Word occasionally. It must become part of who you are. Protect your heart from voices that weaken your faith and from thoughts that contradict what God has spoken. Continue meditating on the Word until it becomes the foundation of your thinking and your lifestyle.
Never allow the enemy to steal what God has planted within you. The Word of God is producing strength, wisdom, and victory in your life. Guard it carefully, and you will continue to bear lasting fruit for the glory of God.

Dear Father, thank You for planting Your living Word in my heart. Thank You because it is producing faith, strength, and victory within me. I rejoice that my heart is guarded by Your truth, and no distraction or deception will steal what You have placed in me. Thank You for causing Your Word to bear abundant fruit in my life.
